I'm not sure that's true. The Ruger Mark IV has 8 models currently in production. The Browning Buck Mark has 38. Revision: I went back to Ruger's website and apparently didn't drill down far enough the first time. They have many more iterations of each model. I have seen good reviews on the Victory, and wont compare the m&p`s as these are not heavy target guns anyway.
