I'd believe it to be one of the following: W29944, W29942 or W23678 or a R20 or RP20. The cup dimensions appear to be the same, just the base is shorter on the yellow wad.

Federal Hull VS Cheddite. So, I've been looking and working on coming up with a 20g, 3", Bismuth load, utilizing Longshot Powder and Cheddite hulls. I tried increasing the wad pressure to 60 – 70 lbs but I was told by MEC that I should not do that. MEC recommended either Downrange wads or Remington RPX wads. SAAMI max is 12,000psi. According to the Hodgdon website: AAHS, 1oz shot, 15.7gr of Longshot with Win209 is 1,165fps at 10,900psi. Just need to contact Hodgdon and get their blessing on the load. The DRV-20 will come as close as any other wad available, except for the Remington SP 20 wad, which is designed for 1 oz. shot loads. The DRV-20 has a very weak cushion section, which can be easily collapsed to allow for additional shot, and shouldn't be too prone to rebound and cause the crimps to open. I recovered one SP20 wad from a pheasant this year that actually broke at the cushion and flipped around after exiting the barrel. It flew like a shuttle cock into the bird, like a slug. The cup of the wad had about 30 #5 in the wad at 25 yd where the pheasant was killed.

You can get away with Bismuth in the Rem and Win hulls with the right powder and wads. I personally just shoot 3/4 oz steel in 2 3/4" hulls but that takes Steel powder to get the speed needed.

The "s" means stitched wad, that is the wad is connected at the top of the slits. Supposed to break apart upon firing. Its main purpose is to ease feeding of the wad on some reloading machines. For reload recipe purposes, it is the same wad. I just went out and tried a 1 oz. load using the DRV20 wad. Running low on wads and as much as I like the RXP20's I think it's time to move on. They are hard to find and Remington seems to be awfully proud of their product. Load is 20 gauge, 7/8 oz skeet loads at 1200 fps. Alliant 20/28 powder, Remington STS hulls, Fio 616 primers. I have to go look up my notes but I believe I'm using 15.4 gr powder.Replacing the SP 12 with another Rem wad may be a tad difficult. The RP 12 is also a 1-1/4 oz. wad, but is a bit shorter and would require the use of a bulky powder to get a good fit, or possibly a filler wad.
