Jan 12, 2023 · Hi, I purchased a 2022 Honda Rubicon with the DCT transmission that has the high and low range shifter. I am having issues shifting from high to low and vice versa. I get a grinding, clunking noise. It will go into gear after going back and forth from drive to reverse, but it can take four or five tries before it does finally go into low range.

It had stripped some teeth off of the shift modulator and also had some water in it. He replaced the damaged parts but can't get it to shift electrically. Jul 8, 2017 · There is an 8mm shaft coming out of the front of the motor, goes through the shift motor gear assembly. Put a 8mm wrench or socket on it and try to shift it up and down. If that works than your problems are electric. If that doesn't work than you have a mecanical problem.

Rather than leave it for 8 hours, just reset it when needed. google the reset. It is key off, in neutral, press up and down at the same time, turn key and release up and down at the same time, when you hear angle sensor going through a cycle then press throttle open and release.
