It seems that the issue is caused by Antivirus software. Avast, and possibly other Antivirus tools seem to block XIV from saving screenshots. Why it suddenly does this, I don' know. Theoretically, you should be able to whitelist the executable file, but It doesn't seem to change anything in my case. The issue is the FFXIV screenshots folder somehow became read-only, and when I try to disable it, it doesn't stick. (I'll click it off, it will act like it's updating permissions on the folder and all the files inside it, but when I check the properties again, it's back to read-only.)
