With the engine light on, the glow plug light would not come on at all after it set the code. There were other codes for the glow plug circuits, but I only concentrated on the main code (U0106 -lost communication with glow plug control module). I used my Snap On Solus Pro scanner and was able to check the code and operation of the control module.I tried pulling the plug just to see if I noticed anything different and I ended up with p0090 and the high fuel rail pressure code which I think was p0088. I did end up replacing one of the small rubber fuel hoses during install and used the same procedures i as would changing a fuel filter.DTCs P0097 and P0098 are Type B DTCs. Diagnostic Aids. Use a multimeter and verify you have continuity from the connector at the sensor all the way back to the main bail connector that sits above the hardline coolant hose (the one that connects to your thermostat housing).

Got some codes and ended up pulling the turbo and giving the vanes a good deep clean, put it back together and they were nice and smooth.
