I noticed the radiator fans do not turn on unless the AC is on. I have not tried driving the car with the AC on to see if it stays cool in fear that I will damage the engine ...
I've got a 06 300 2.7 that is overheating. Water is being pushed back into the reservoir and was blowing out the weep hole . I have changed the tstat twice, new water pump, new temp sensor, new hoses, new reservoir, new radiator, new bleeder all done within the last 1-9 months.4094 posts · Joined 2006. #3 · Sep 23, 2017. If the hole is in the neck of the reservoir, it's probably there to vent any steam if the cap is loosened on a hot engine. Check that the cap is securely fastened and sealing OK.
