It was 13.5 after a few mins it raised its voltage to 14.3 and the light went off. Drove it and was fine checked voltage after letting it run for awhile and it was still over 14 volts.

The battery light was on so I replaced the alternator 2 weeks ago and the battery was replaced about 6 months ago. Well now the light stays on all the time.

You should look and see the coolant level for the High Voltage system. If it has coolant, but is just low you should be safe to drive.
