I took the new free 120 and got a 58% 10 days ago, and I took the old free 120 offline today and got 72.5%. Wanted to see if other people had similar experiences. Every time they have ever retired old practice materials and released new ones, the new stuff has been markedly more difficult. I know it's rated as the top, single most important criterion for program directors, but it's just not the reality. I'm applying to a field where the average Step 1 is a 240. I have a 260. The reality is if you just roll horribly test day for any number of reasons, you are still pretty reasonable risk of not passing, and all you have to do is pass.
