Fel magic is just magic that needs life or souls to fuel it, hence why a lot of the warlock spells are also based on necromancy. Drain life, drain soul, seed of corruption, curses and what not are all necromanctic magic. Some of those are empowered with fel magic though but that costs a soul shard to use.

I don’t really understand Draenei shaman, from both a meta perspective and in-game. I am learning to play and understand WoW Draenei more with TBC classic. Never really cared for their lore in WoD or Legion. I’ve always been resentful that we never get the Broken or even the “lost ones” Draenei from the old games.
