I'm on the market for a new amp, for those sweet 60s clean to edge of breakup sounds. Planning to use it with my archtops for jazz shenanigans and a couple of strats for that touch-sensitive magic that I recall the original Falcon had. I'm yet to try the grande though. Is it in the same vein...

Lemme put it this way. this DSL40C sounds as good as any MV Marshall I've ever owned ('79 JMP 100w, 81 JCM800 2204 50w). There are a few things to consider. 1. Your presets need to be dialed in for the amp and cab. Taking one that was dialed in for FRFR and running it into an amp and cab is not ideal. 2.
