His tests are not easy, but very fair. If you study and know the material, you will get an A. The textbook was helpful, but not necessary.

Bin is a great professor, but his accent can make him hard to understand at times. His usual grading is 50% midterm, 50% final, and his feedback is not very useful. However, the two tests are take-home, and the problems are very similar to examples he gives in lectures. If you read through the lectures, you should pass easily.
