Perimeter defense is absolutely unrealistic. Everyone is a bit of a mind reader and tend to pretty much get in the way. The body up shit is just that - shit. You'll end up doing stutter steps instead of trying to explode out of position. If you use turbo (because you want to run fast) you'll be sucked into a defender.
