When my Foundry rolls are set to Private GM Roll, my players just see questions marks when an attack roll is made, rather than the hit/miss and damage total specified by this setting. Here is a picture of my settings for this option.It allows you to have spells inside an item and cast them from the spellbook. Using magic item module is very helpful for this. You can also use item macro module to shortcut the item clicking. So by default magic item adds the spell at the bottom of the spell sheet.

I've ensured that CuB isn't managing concentration, I've disabled Dynamic Active Effects config sheet, and in Midi QoL Workflow settings, I've enabled Concentration Automation, Remove Concentration on a failed save. When the actor is hit, the concentration check does appear but a failure doesn't remove the icon. I'm on version 0.9.35.

The ADV/Dis-ADV thing is pretty easy to fix, you just need to adjust the shortcut keys for midi. Go to the settings tab then Configure Controls. Look for midi and change the shortcuts.For midi QOL it's in the settings tab, under modules and midi QOL. Usually the setting button is on the right side of foundry in the last tab, and once that window is open you may find the settings if you scroll down a bit.
