Months ago I did the break even analysis for Tradovate as a broker and a third party platform. Basically you were never better off with this setup if you traded micros. But you could come out ahead with Minis as long as you were doing like 150+ round turns a month (forgot the exact number)Bug. Every few minutes I am being logged out of my broker and being asked to sign in again. When I sign out, I am either stable for a few seconds, a few minutes or an hour if I am lucky. The login screen sometimes keeps getting stuck and taking me back to the same log in page and flickering.... Ninja is a decent platform. It costs more and I just don’t think it’s as customizable. Interactive Brokers is just not good for futures. Platform sucks, data is crap. I’ve heard Tradeovate is good. This happens to every broker at some point, even institutional brokers (i was an institutional broker to hedge funds and ias for over 7+ years) - it doesnt happen all the time but when it does, easy fix, have a backup. Im considering of having Tradestation as a backup but Tradovate will always be my main.
