Vex Force people tend to join at phase 2. Yes the spawn rate sucks. In the end, you're better off farming lost sectors for now. 5-9 min each, if you wait for the short masters it's a fairly good farm.

I even got lucky on one and had an enemy drop an exotic as well. You just need to hang out in the incursion zone and wait for it appear.

There was only ONE Vex Strike on 4/20, and six since reset on 4/21. That's an average of once every 4 hours, but it's not exactly 4 hours, and it's randomized, so there's no predictability. I know it guarantees an exotic each run and runs on the LLS knockout system, but it's basically a worse version of both LLS farm and NFs.
