The Psych major is very popular at Pitt. A lot of pre-meds take it as well as non pre-meds. Pitt does not offer a Psych minor at the main campus. Notably, the PhD Psych program (as well as PhD Philosophy) are highly regarded. Western Psych Hospital on the Pitt campus is a premiere research and in-patient psychiatric hospital.

Pitt, Penn State and Pennsylvania in general are near the top in costs nationally for in state tuition. Back in 2019 it was not uncommon for high stat in-state kids to get between $10K-25K a year at Pitt. My S19 did. I haven't seen anything like is since. @TheVulcan kid had all the stats but did not get the Pitt merit, neither did the #2 and #3 kids in my S19's HS class.
