I might just have to try doing that calix ont but more sfp form factor. normally I wouldn't care about the c5500xk being in the middle but im running into issues using it in bridge mode that cause speed issues (more on the upload) where its not always gigabit (~250-750mbps range), and remote performance is even worse.

There are some guides you can find on the nest forums. You have to hookup to the century link router to a PC over Ethernet and disable the wireless radios and put it into transparent bridge mode. Then you have to hook it up to your google wifi/nest wifi and factory reset your google WiFi/nest wifi and create a new network.
