Crystal bow is also good in fight caves. The armor set is what makes it out DPS your rune cbow, should also be more accurate. Bowfa is of course the long term goal there though. The other advantage to both of these options is they are a cash option for ammo that is decent for it's cost, vs buying rune arrows or amethyst and things of that nature.
Owning crystal + masori is a bit strange for a main especially without even the bowfa, but if you were an iron you wouldn't suggest "getting rid" of masori. If Iron then I'd suggesting grinding until bowfa. idk how you people can do the corrupted gauntlet. ive been trying for a week straight to finish a single CG but i just cant fucking do it. I can barely finish a regular gauntlet, with t2 prep and 30 seconds left and a full inventory of food, still only kill hunleff maybe 50% of the time. im just done, if i cant complete the gauntlet and get a bowfa and crystal armor i dont stand a chance in ...Blow pipe/Addy darts (full crystal armor) get 6.51 dps while the bowfa (full crystal armor) gets 8.15 dps. At p2 wardens bowfa gets 7.95 dps while Blowpipe/addy darts (full crystal armor) gets 6.06 dps. Overall i'd use the bowfa everywhere in the raid unless using at least dragon darts.

Just being able to go back for an armor seed every now and then is a lot nicer than camping cg. bowfa without armor is better than crystal bow with armor...but that accuracy hit will hurt a lot on bosses. You absolutely can have a rest and have fun with. So many people high on their supply here.

This goes quite literally 20x for corrupting the bowfa.Crystal, and it's not close. crystal armour gives +15% damage. Masori gives +8 ranged strength. Even ignoring the other pieces you might have like anguish or assembler, the bow has over 100 ranged str, so 15 is obviously way more than 8. It also increases the bonus from your ranged level. Accuracy is a similar story.At 99 thieving I believe pickpocketing elves is the fastest way, otherwise you want to do CG. Corrupted Gauntlet for sure. Thieving elves is by far the fastest shards per hour and its not even close. Zalcano is good, and is good money.

As for the inferno, as others have said Bowfa will generally be better. Still bring a blowpipe though if you can manage rune+ darts. No. You should realistically get the 2k shards to corrupt the bow eventually, and the armor charges degrade pretty slowly. So no. depending on content. Archers ring does nothing on low defense things. If you're using a spec weapon, lightbearer is BIS. If not, suffering is. So elven signet is never worth it.
