Oct 19, 2023 · Final verdict. We were pleasantly surprised with the Akko 3098N. It is by far the best-feeling keyboard we’ve felt without tactile switches. It is satisfying, rapid, and makes for an effortless and accurate typing experience. Despite an all-plastic exterior, the board feels weighty, durable, and premium.

The Akko Jelly Purple is an improved version of the Lavender Purple switch. The biggest difference is the operation force which went from 36gf to 40gf. The tactile force as also increased from 50gf to 56gf. Both switches are of the tactile kind which offer a subtle “bump” while pressing the switch.
