There are three Apocalypse difficulties: 1 (6x), 2 (10x), and 3 (15x). The Apocalypse Draws Near is based on Apocalypse level 3, the hardest of them all. Unlike the Apocalypse Challenge, however, The Apocalypse Draws Near allows players to walk at normal speed and sprint.

Performs almost no actions while players are near it – Shade. Rarely changes the ghost room – Goryo. Wanders frequently, and usually to a player – Phantom or Banshee. The gold Apocalypse trophy is the hardest achievement/challenge in Phasmophobia and will take a lot of practice, patience and knowledge about the game before you can even attempt it. Hence, I suggest leaving these achievements till last, or at least until you've prestiged once or more.
