DeVirgilio's is case files on steroids for surgery. I never got anything out of case files but DeVirgilio got me a 90% or something on the surgery shelf. NBME exams- So YMMV with these, they are cheap, 20$ each, but they can do a few things. one they show you what you should be ready for overall, some easy stuff, some hard, and overall feels pretty close to the real deal. I would do these, and aim to at least get average or higher on them, if you get around 18-21 youre in the ballpark.

I did NMS Surgery Casebook and Pestana and got 98th percentile nationally. UWorld is basically all trauma so is pretty useless for surgery. I did UWorld Surgery and AMBOSS surgery and scored in honors range (>75% national average). Psych was by far the easiest with OB/Gyn a close second, but I also always just seemed to do really well on OB in general.
