Browse the …Yes, the vet school does take mainly in-state students, after all it is a state school, but if your grades are good and you are in-state you have a chance no matter what school you went to. The idea that UF grads are given preference because UF is a more highly ranked school is not true at all.Type up a nice resume and a cover letter, explaining your goal of vet school. Take it down to a vets office, talk to the vet if you can, the manager if the vet's not there. Dress nicely, be super polite (Even to the front desk staff- a lot of times people hiring ask the front desk staff what their opinion is).
