When i deinstall G-Hub, my wheel is not being recognized.. I can't get my G923 to be recognized either, it works fine in Forza Horizon 4 but in 5 there is no wheel option on the input settings. I have G-Hub installed and always use it, my game plays fine no crashes on start but forces controller and keyboard only.

Ok, so I've spent nearly 20 hours trying everything to make my G923 work well with Horizon 4. I was very frustrated since I really do love the game and the G923 works very well with other racegames, but with FH4 I was really struggling to make a good setup for the Wheel. I searched the net for many settings but none of them worked for me. Therefore, it may be easier to switch the PRO Wheel to the G923 compatibility mode to facilitate setup for those titles. It's usually still possible to use the wheel in PRO mode for those titles by manually configuring the controls in the title's options. I’ve got both traction and stability control enabled. I'd say disable the assists and dial in a custom tune yourself. Try a FWD car and see if the same thing happens. Oversteer should be a car issue, not your steering wheel. It's pretty easy to fix with race sway bars and adjustable suspension.

There are no presets for g923, but the one for g29 works I made my own preset which u need to anyway since u really need to tweak the ffb to max fidelity. Work on the ffb for at least the next 4 or 5 days tweaking settings. Check YouTube, find a video for the g29, and start there.
