Probably an issue with the park position sensor, the park lock solenoid, or the park hold solenoid (or wiring). Could have been a momentary glitch. I had this issue on my Durango with 14 miles on it. Turned out under the shifter assembly and center console, there are dual ground eyelets. Mine were not tightend to spec. Tech put on a scanner, with in 1 hour had the issue solved and tightend the eyelets to the ground bolt. Now the jeeps shifter THAT is *****. There's no position to it, push it forward and you could get park or reverse or neutral from drive, depending on how hard/far you push, but then it returns back to center...
