i went for a different pick for survival monk: Dwarf. since you need con for the 11th level feature, +2 really helps. for sub race, either snow or hill will work. Snow gets +1 dex, and the heavy crossbow proficiency is nice for a back up option at longer ranges. Hill gets +1 wis, and the extra hp per level is nice and builds into the theme.

Yeah Solasta and last I played it BG3 both allowed BA offhand attacks regardless of what you did with your Action. That's a big change to the action economy. The biggest impact I found was Dodge + BA Attack. Basically like free Blur that you can't lose concentration on... For most classes that's good defensively, but very low damage.

When it comes to gameplay it is as good if not better than baldurs gate 3 , pathfinder and wasteland 3 . It doesnt have very good graphics , voice acting isnt the best either and story is linear but its worth playing for the depth of the gameplay.
