This was my first ever, and also my last, purchase of a Pflueger brand reel. I have always liked the spincast underspin style of reels. Can cast and retrieve quicker than an open bail design. Have used Zebco and Daiwa in the past. So when I got this one last year and opened it up I was excited - - man, this thing feels solid, what a great build!
