He currently works best on a war offense team. Red skull, zemo, grenidier, rifle trooper, and armored guard work decently if you want a low cost pure hydra team. Kinda feels like armored guard works better for tanking unless you need xbones for that first turn burst damage.
Ik they arent the best so im trying to make the most out of them. Doc Ock, rhino, Mysterio, swarm, electro is the go to. They're not really worth it but they can do alright as a war defense especially if doc ock is massive. If you don't have doc oc, they aren't really worth using. I personally prefer Rhino, Vulture, Doc Ock, Electro and Swarm.

Underworld was a war offense team. Defense is different. Defense teams are just suckering us into spending resources for the sole purpose of making other players buy new characters. They WANT defense teams that kick in everyone's dick, it's why they are always generous, including "accidentally" giving out a ton of free shards like Hero Asgardians.
Literally doesn’t matter you who pair them with, if you have both Ikaris and Sersi they are incredibly busted. But, just for the sake of it, sure: pair them with Cloak and Dagger, who are almost equally busted. And fill in the 5th spot with Spider-Man, just to insult your opponents. 1.
