I tested Kimber’s Ultra Carry II in 45 ACP. This is a short grip, aluminum framed 1911 style gun, with a 3” bull barrel. At 25 oz, it is a good gun for EDC.I think that the Kimber mags are actually made by Chip McCormick. Every gun can be finicky about different makes of magazines, just try a few and see what works with the Kimber, you can always sell the ones that dont feed for your gun in here. I do think that the Wilson Combat and Chip McCormick mags are the best out there for sure.
