Interactive brokers - you can find the lowest margin rates with them, but not recommended if you are a beginner in futures trading. Fxview - you can replay past markets tick-by-tick, so they are awesome with plotting financial data and performing earnings analysis.
Ninjatrader and Tradovate are two complete different systems. Let me explain NInjatrader is a locally runned program. Meaning it runs on your computer, where as tradovate is a web based application so it runs on the web. Just growing pains but obviously sucks if you got twisted up somehow. Every broker will have a similar issue at some point. Anyone who disagrees isn’t on daily or is lying.

Tradovate will lag during busy crazy events, so buyer beware. If you avoid those you should be fine. If you want to go deep down the rabbit hole, you can do anything on Sierra Chart and it is way cheaper than Ninja Trader. Be prepared to spend a good amount of time learning/setting up the software to how you like it if you go that route.
