Obviously in pvp it’s still alive and well. Maybe at the higher end it’s better in pve but so far at lower levels it’s underwhelming. I can’t even use it to level anymore. You can go for more status effects by putting a cold katana in your left hand and still use the weapon art of the moonveil. The L1 power stancing will build bleed faster and having the cold will help. Status effects scale well into the higher NG+. You can still use the weapon art to break stances decently well.
