Intimidator is a solid hyper because it focuses on what hypers do best, hills. The coaster does suffer from a poor finale though, just like Mako at SeaWorld Orlando. I get that parks want maximum capacity so they request a mid course brake run but the layout from the mid course brakes to the final brakes is a total buzz kill, just like Mako.
A few days later we visited Intimidator at Carowinds and I think they use the same soundbite, but the 2 rides really don't compare so it was almost a joke.
