You don't need to power all the surface portals to access the one in each planet, plus medium batteries and medium generators work numbers better. Atrox is really only good for gasses (the only planet with Helium, which is needed for some end-game items). The problem is that once you are on the satellite, you can pick a planet to travel to, but the game will not tell you the name of the planet, you have to kind of guess...
