April 21. Terry: Spectrum is having some major cloud DVR issues right now. Several of us are having similar problems. Supposedly they are working on fixing it. They don't appear to have the capacity and equipment needed to handle the service they are offering. They are supposed to be upgrading this and fixing this over the next few weeks.It did not. If you have a TV and are okay with TV sound or maybe a soundbar you will love the Xumo box. But if you have a surround sound set up you will be disappointed. The Xumo box does support 4K and most all Dolby formats. However, the Spectrum app only supports stereo on all channels.Recording on Spectrum Cloud DVR is easy and convenient. My streaming service at my other home is DirectTV Streaming and I have cloud dvr service. That service allows me to pause rewind and fast forward while watching any live show, from any of my streaming boxes.

I apologize that they didn't advise you that the pause/rewind live TV was limited to a physical DVR. If you call in to 855-707-7328 a DVR can be added to the account and can either be mailed out to you or picked up at your local Spectrum store.
