I only do scav runs when I see these kinds of threads and I go in for the express purpose of killing other scavs. If anything, I would be happy to see a higher penalty because that would indicate I killed a scav karma enthusiast. Because I don't care about scav runs, really none of these penalties people love to suggest would bother me at all.
Essentially, the scav acts as the Vulture of Escape from Tarkov. If a PMC is fighting, we watch until they die and kill the player looting them. If there are popular buildings that have already been looted, double-check them. Scav runs get stuck on "awaiting session start" randomly, does anyone else have the same issue? Issue I queue up for scavs, for the most part they work just fine and I get in a match, but "randomly" a few other times it gets stuck indefinitely at "awaiting for session start" with no sign of it ever starting (relaunching the game and joining ... Penalties as they are right now, are just fine. People just need to get it into their head. Scavs mode is a free possibility so collect loot and very often good kits from dead players or raiders. In 4 out of 10 Scav runs, I get out dead player kits or decent armor or guns. And that's not even trying to encounter pvp.

Keep in mind you are not getting PMC XP while you are on scav runs. You are leveling up your actual scav. Just wanted to clarify for you. My approach to scav runs is simple. I mind my own business and will avoid other player scavs. I will not however wait for them to shoot at me first if I see anything funny happening. Scavs earn scav xp not pmc xp. To level your pmc you have to do pmc runs. You don't get PMC XP from Scav runs. Most probably the server just got back and there aren't enough raids available for all the scavs, even if they let you enter after 5m from game start. If instead this is happening because they moved scav spawn at -15-20m from end, that would be a great change. Preloading PMC to not get the endless awaiting session start for scav is pretty unreliable, works like 50% of the time for me. I think im good on scaving for now. Not to mention it also happens for some players that ran PMC in this thread. Stop spreading your useless method asshat.
