There are a few other treadmill makers. I use a third party treadmill infront of a 40” tv in my basement. Works great to stream the peloton classes. Don’t think peloton tread is worth it until they bring the tread+ back. You can find treadmills for half the cost that can do those speeds and inclines that will last a decade.

You can turn any treadmill into a decline trainer by propping up the back a few inches; then 0 becomes negative, and +x becomes your new zero.

The "app compatibility" function is a little misleading, at least when it comes to Peloton. You can connect the tread via bluetooth directly to Zwift and maybe some other apps; however, you can't connect it with Peloton. You will strictly be using Peloton digital, and the tread will not share your speed, incline, distance, etc. with Peloton. The Peloton is a good treadmill, no doubt, but you do have a lot of options even at $2,500. So I don't feel at $3,500 it is a good value.
