The official method from the GM bulletin is replacement of a switch component along with the harness or replacement of the entire shifter. If the issue persists, contact your dealer so they can fix it.

I have a 2018 High Country when it was new it had the shift to park issue and was told by the Dealer, they replaced the whole shifter. The car has 26000 miles.
