The ESC Light indicates that there is a problem with your car’s electric stability control system. 2015 GMC Acadia. Recently, the service stabilitrack, service traction control messages popped up on the vehicle. Shut the car off, turned it back on, and the messages would go away. Now, the messages do not clear. Even more recently, the vehicle would be hard to start. Motor would turn over but it took more and more turns to start. The Service StabiliTrak message (also called Service Stabilitrak Light or Stability Track Light) is a warning signal that appears when something is up with your GMC/Chevy’s StabiliTrak System. It can appear when the car is in motion or idle.
