The 30S has the SF frame. The SF, regular and Gen4 frames are the same width. The grip, front to back, is shorter on the SF and Gen4 models than on the regular G30. Glock should just make the SF models the standard now. There really isn't any point in having the current standard frame anymore.Have the 30SF, 30S, 19, 26, and a 21. The 30 grip with 10 rd mag feels best. In live fire I find either 30 variant more controllable and accurate vs the 9s or the 21. The 30SF is the more comfortable 30 to shoot. I have most all the Glock .45's. When I was choosing which would be first in the 30 series (my first two .45's were G21SF and G21g4), the 30S's frame is same as 30SF and 30g4. The slide is slimmer on the 30S. But, the frame thickness is what grabbed my attention at first. Slimmer slide but same thickness in the frame.
