I use a floor jack with 3' 2x10 on top to help balance the tank as its lowered and lifted. 2 bolts on the frame side of the tank, take them out lower the tank a few inches. Loosen the hose clamp for the fuel fill hose drop the tank. Take the wiring harness off and fuel line connections off pull the tank out from under the truck.
