Tuesday 4/25/23. I see the CLMRN database has been updated to now show "dispatch1 and dispatch 2 for every troop. Any idea what the additional dispatch talkgroup is specifically used to dispatch? I did not know they were so busy that a second dispatch talk group was needed. Manny

they have officially switched over to the new system statewide, and unpatched the old smartzone. there are MANY new talkgroups on this system including ones for regional dispatch centers. Some folks had better luck with just a single control channel, some use directional antennas, some can't get it to work no matter what. Sounds like the schools, FD and EMS are still gonna stay on the LTR system with contingency plans for if it suffers any failure they can't fix or patch. He said they had a lighting strike a while back and made some temp repairs until a permanent replacement, one P25 TRS for PD, FD, EMS and town services and a DMR solution for the schools.
