I know that to get the best performance out of these kind of bullets, you need to be on the higher end of in terms of velocity. I usually really like 140 gr Barnes TTSX (can't find any, anywhere) for my Savage 7mm-08 using 43.6 grains of RL-15 - good accuracy and no obvious pressure signs. Feb 11, 2020 · Rem 700 7mm-08. I own and load for my Rem700 7mm-08. I prefer 42 gr H4895 with 140 gr Nosler Accubonds and/or Partition and gotten devastating results on south LA whitetail. The Accubond load shoots 1” groups @ 100 yds and drop 2.5” at 200 yds. I’ve used 41 gr of Varget with similar results.

I did see a max load of 44.6 gr of Varget with a listed velocity of 3,050 fps which I'm assuming would be at or close to max, if not a bit past. I've never loaded that hot. Didn't see any accuracy data for it. Seems to me that your load would be hard to beat
