Aug 16, 2015 · We had great difficulty getting to the handicapped parking area for Hersheypark Stadium. Staff would just yell to “keep moving” when we would try to ask. One said they had 5 venues to park people and just to find a place. No, that is not acceptable. We needed handicapped parking for the venue we were attending. Yes, parking can be a disaster for concerts at Hersheypark stadium. I don't have any personal experience with using Uber after a concert; however, I have read some TA posts that people have used Uber successfully after a concert. Hopefully someone who actually used Uber will comment as to convenience of drop off and pick up.In hind sight, we would have tried to park in the Hershey store parking lot, shopped for a bit, and just stayed in that lot. Doing what we did, parking in the regular paved lot was a nightmare. 2 hours to go 2 miles is a sign of how inefficient they are getting folks in and out. We left the concert early, just to avoid the repeat on the way out.
