I am having dell Inspiron 3576. While powering up in the battery LED indicator, it blinks 2 Amber followed by 5 white. Earlier it was 2 Amber followed by 4 white but after performing rtc reset as advised by the dell support it changes to 5 white.After pluggin it into the wall and turning it on, I got 4 amber flashes and 1 white flash on the front LED blinking in a cycle. It stopped doing this after about 30 seconds and now it is glowing white to indicate that the laptop is charging. I searched on Google, but I cannot find what do 4 amber and 1 white flash mean.Generally 4 Amber and 1 White indicates a bad battery and requires a battery replacement. Those genuine Dell OEM batteries can be found at Parts-People here though they appear to be out of stock at the moment.
