You can do shadar kai rogue 10/ranger 6/artificer 4 easily. If you have aasimar scourge though, i advise you to use it to get ranger levels first since its +2 to ranged damage per ranger past life.

Some involve race/class/universal tree unlocks but a fair bit don't. I would say new players go look there instead of other places.
