Feb 14, 2019 · 2005 King Quad 700 (6000 miles/10,000 km) will not start in temperatures under 20F/-7C (it turns over and you can hear it firing). It will hard start from 20F- 40F when you add a little throttle while starting it. Once warmed up after a couple minutes, it will idle fine and run good under any temperature conditions and restart fine if turned off. Checked the resis of CKP (crank position sensor) its also in range but could not get 5 v on my digital volt meter when cranking, I will try on analog volt meter and see any volt output. Many riders has posted code 24 means bad ECU any suggestion. This seems electrical. Check the voltage at the battery with the atv at idle. Might be having a undercharging scenario. Like overcharging scenarios, undercharging scenarios can also mess with your electrical system. At idle you should be producing around 13.5 volts at idle and 14.0 - 14.4 volts when revving the engine.

Bought it from napa an it pressured to 70 PSI with the stock o ring in, i did the pie cut to get it down to around 44 psi at idle.
